Every year, Foot Locker, Inc. employees who exhibit exceptional personal passion at work, in the classroom, and in their communities are given a $5,000 one-year scholarship by the Foot Locker Foundation. In addition, the Ken C. Hicks Scholarship, named for the former chairman and CEO, will award a $5,000 bonus to one winner, making a total of $10,000.
The Foot Locker Foundation wants to support you in realizing your professional goals, whether you’re a team member of Foot Locker heading off to college in the fall, seeking a graduate degree, applying for a certificate program, or returning to school to finish your education!
Phase of the Scholarship program
Applications
This year, high school graduates who intend to enroll in a four-year university or two-year community college to pursue an undergraduate degree are eligible to apply. Eligible candidates should submit their applications online between January 9 and February 24, 2024, at 11:59 PM EST.

Selection
Based on the judging criteria, all applications will be reviewed by a panel of scholarship experts. The judges will make sure your application reflects your unique style and goals while seamlessly fitting the requirements of the scholarship.
Acceptance
In May 2024, they will choose and declare the 30 Foot Locker Associate Scholarship winners. Scholarship selection procedures take time, so it’s important to wait for updates with persistence.
How To Apply
- Determine your eligibility by examining the prerequisites to determine your eligibility for the scholarship.
- Go and create a user profile and set up your account on the scholarship website.
- Tell us about your “love for the game” and how you exhibit a special kind of passion for people, business, and yourself every single day.
- Submit your application before the deadline. The deadline for applications is February 24, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
